Trial and Error

Well after Christmas we decided to get the kids bunk beds and move all the toys downstairs to clean out our living room. To do that that ment that we had to take Jayden's crib apart and put him into a bed. We bought him a Thomas the train bed set and he really likes that but it has been a challenge to get him to sleep in his bed by himself. We put a movie on for Jaala at night and she falls asleep no problem, usually, and Jayden watches it to and he falls asleep to but we also have had to on a number of occasions lay with him till he falls asleep which is really annoying but we do it for our sanity. The other day Justin was putting the kids to bed while I was at work and he decided to see what would happen if we didn't lay with Jayden so he put them to bed and then came upstairs. About half an hour later he decided to see if they were sleeping and Jaala was but Jayden was nowhere to be found in his room, Justin then went to the play room and found Jayden in there watching treehouse, Jayden looked up at his dad and just laughed, the stinker. So alas Justin had to lay with him till he fell asleep which didn't take too long. So we are still having the battle with Jayden and getting him to sleep on his own but as for Jaala she loves her new bed and toy room that we tried to make as fun as we could so that they would like to play in there so we will continue our battle with Jayden and we will win eventually.
