California - Day 1

Vacation is finally here, today was a great but long day. We were up at 4 am and have been going all day. The flight here to LA was smooth as can be and after landing and getting out car rental going we drove down to Long Beach where we went on a whale watching tour for about 3.5 hours. We saw lots of dolphins, seals, and two blue whales with surprisingly are even larger then Janna reaching up to 100 feet in length!

A blue whale blowing water. They were difficult to photograph since they were always diving deep to feed and you never knew exactly where they would surface. so cool seeing these massive whales though!
