Tires

Well I wasn't going to post a blog about this but then I read Bryan's blog and knew that something fishy was going on. Ok Bryan, there is something going on here because yesterday at the lake we were all having a good time tubing and boating, until I went to the van to get the kid's sand toys and noticed that we had a flat tire. Ok so it wasn't a blow out like yours but wait it gets better. So I go back and tell Justin the bad news and then he goes and does his thing, puts the doughnut on the van and makes a few calls. Ok so we are good, but is a doughnut good to use when you are pulling a boat? Probably not, but we had to get the boat out of the water so that takes us WAY too long and then in the process I notice that the back tire is flat too, we just great two flat tires and one doughnut, screwed.... again Justin does his thing and it is a good thing that Janna and Joc were there with Janna's car because by that time it is 8:30 pm and the kids need to go to bed so Joc and I take the kids home and Justin and Janna stay behind to wait for dad to come to the rescue. We had to leave the boat at the lake, get the tires fixed the next day and then go back to the lake put them on and then drive home. While Justin was getting the tires fixed they told him that there was a screw in one tire and a hole in the other tire matching the screw so we were really screwed.

Well they say bad luck comes in three and Bryan and Jen was one and we were lucky and got the last two, thanks guys.

I hope no more flats come around and we can maybe enjoy a relaxing evening at the beach.
